Use SMS text to keep in touch with your customersOver 45 million people in the UK now have a mobile phone – that’s more than 8 out of every 10 people. Because all these people have mobiles, text is a great way to communicate with them. It’s instant, more personal than an email, cheaper than a letter and more likely to be read. Text is a great way to remind customers of upcoming events; a florist “Don’t Forget Mother’s Day” or a garage “Your car is ready”. As well as reminders, you can send marketing messages like “Your policy is up for renewal” or “Summer Sale Starts Saturday”. The options are endless. Buzz has two types of Text service. One works with Microsoft Outlook on your computer and uses the diary to send out reminders with replies either sent to your inbox or phone. The other is web based and lets you send texts to individuals or groups of people, quickly and easily.
