What is Buzz Continuity?
Buzz Continuity provides an instant fail over kit that is always on, sitting as an integral part of your network it automatically activates should your ADSL connection fail. You won't even notice it has activated, until you get an email from us telling you it has! The solution includes a Hubba which provides instant ADSL speed broadband without wires, a dual router that handles switch over and a fully configured IP telephone.
Typical scenario for this solution is a loss in your broadband connection, workmen somewhere drill through a cable and suddenly you loose internet connection and your phones die. Previously your business would be suffering while someone uses their mobile to register a fault with BT, waiting hours for them to investigate and even longer to fix it. Should this happen the Buzz Continuity solution kicks in and takes routes internet and telephony out through its wireless connection keeping you up and running without any downtime.

FAQ's
How many users can it run?
Depending on bandwidth on average 12 simultaneous voice users or 6 users both voice and Internet connection, however the solution is extendable by adding additional Hubba units.
Is it tried and tested?
Yes it is. The units have been fully trialed and our team are also happy to demonstrate it.
How does it get an ADSL speed connection without BT wires?
This its true strength and due to the unique technology within the unit, developed in the UK the unit has four powerful aerials inside, which seek out 3G base stations within a 9mile radius. Its algorithm tests each station and looks for the transmitter with the best bandwidth available not just the closest.
Do you provide support?
Yes we do, but actually it is designed as a seemless switch over solution so once configured you should not need it. Our technical team operate a 9-5.30 5 days a week support line and this is included with the unit purchase, but this can be upgraded to our 24/7 service for an additional monthly charge.
How does the data plan work?
The Buzz Continuity kit is designed to activate as and when you need it, but stays on alert to take over at a moments notice so needs basic connectivty so that it is ready. When an interruption occurs and the unit takes over all communications the data plan is burstable depending on how much bandwidth you consume, similarly to that of your mobile phone if you use more minutes you up the tariff. At the end of the month this will drop back down if normal service has been restored until needed again.
How does the telephony work?
The system routes calls through the Internet to your phone, as illustrated in the above example. Callers and receivers do not experience anything different, and in fact this is method of call delivery happens in the BT network and around the world. Instead of the last part of the call coming out of your local exchange and down the wire to your premises it is transmitted through your Internet connection. We can give you a different telephone number that your main calls can divert to or migrate your existing numbers for complete peace of mind.
Can I plug my normal phone into it?
No due to the technology a plain old telephone will not work, you will need an IP phone but one is included in the cost of the kit so you need not worry. Additional sets can be purchased.
Can the unit provide connectivity to our PBX telephone switch?
Yes it can, there will be some differences to the installation and therefore costs, and this depends on which switch you have, our team are happy to discuss your individual requirements.
