Automated Call Handling (ACH) provides you with a Data-capture facility, which is in effect a more sophisticated version of voicemail.
Once the caller has reached the ACH Data-capture facility, they are presented with a greeting audio and then asked to leave the details that are required by the advertiser.
As opposed to standard voicemail where there is only one field for the caller to leave their details, with ACH Data-capture you are able to provide as many fields as you need.
Most inbound campaigns will only require a single field, but with ACH the option is there to extend this if a particular campaign demands it.
Once the customer has left the required details, an e-mail will be forwarded onto the chosen e-mail address containing the audio of the caller’s message. This can then be played back via any of the standard media types, including Windows Media Player and iTunes. The file can then be saved to the recipient’s computer.
