Lo-Call Numbers

0843/0844
0843/44 numbers are revenue share numbers, as they give you a share of income on received calls.

0844 numbers are normally used when an advertiser wants to offset some of the costs of supporting a number –which can be considerable if expensive personnel are needed to provide this support. The most obvious example of a 0844 number in use is a Technical Support service.

Call charges can be varied according to the type and value of the service that is being offered and supported.Numbers can be immediately activated and usage reports are in real time. Please see our reports section for further information.

0845
0845 numbers are well established with and easily recognised by the public, who associate them with trusted and established businesses.

0845 numbers, also known as lo-call rate numbers, are numbers that provide an advertiser with a national presence but a local feel.

The key benefit for the consumer is that they pay a local connection rate, even if they are calling a business at the other end of the country. Which in turn is the key benefit for you – customers won’t hesitate to pick up the phone if they are confident that they’ll only be paying a local rate.

Calls are charged at between 0.5p and 2p per minute from most BT landlines, depending on the time of day, and are included with free call packages – again another reason for cost conscious consumers not to worry about the price of a call.

Unlike 0800 numbers the cost is split between the advertiser and the caller, with the advertiser paying approximately 50% less call charges using a 0845 rather than a 0800 number.
